Physical therapy is a modality which is widely used to help patients restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. Therapists work closely with a number of different types of practitioners including medical and naturopathic doctors, massage therapists, chiropractors, and many others!

Physical therapy uses a combination of modalities, including massage and hydrotherapy. Therapists also use machines such as ultrasound, lamps, and exercise equipment to help strengthen patients and get them on the road to recovery!

Occupational Therapy

Whether teaching an action itself or working to modify the environment in which it is performed, an Occupational Therapist excels at restoring independence in a way that is personal and meaningful to the patient.

In concert with the demands of the every day, the needs and desires of the patient, and the recommendations of health providers and caregivers, therapists use kineseology, massage, exercise, assistive devices and anything else which can help improve the daily life of their client.
